Welcome to Cheeda Art

Subhash Cheeda is a teacher and artist with decades of experience. His artwork has been exhibited and widely appreciated in the USA and across the world, resulting in several of his works being published in beautifully illustrated books.

Cheeda Art is steadily growing in popularity, and Subhash Cheeda is recognized as a highly recommended artist for commissioned works.

In North West India, especially Punjab, he is well known in the art community. Over the last two decades, he has left his indelible mark through portraits of historical figures, public personalities, and community leaders. His Punjabi version of The Last Supper in the Christian Medical College Chapel and his paintings on the healing episodes of Christ hold special importance. Among his notable works is a portrait of Edith Mary Brown, founder of Christian Medical College & Hospital Ludhiana, recreated with life and color from a black-and-white photograph.

His creative range spans portraits of Martin Luther King, Bhagat Singh, saints, gods, goddesses, and contemporary personalities. Many of these works are displayed in public places, on walls, and on private collections, standing as testimony to his mastery of brush and paint. The Tribune (Chandigarh) has also frequently featured his work.

Through Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms, his art has reached a wider audience, bringing him recognition beyond his own community. At the same time, he is committed to nurturing future generations of artists by teaching and inspiring young students at Cheeda Art.

For Subhash Cheeda, art is both expression and legacy — a joy forever, to be shared and passed on to the next generation.
